Day After April Fool's
I must be really lazy, because I didn't even attempt to pull off an April Fool's joke this year. I can always count on my family members back east to fall for anything. I once told my Mom I was engaged, and after she stopped telling me how happy she was, I told her it was just a joke for April 1st. In retrospect, that is kind of a cruel thing to do to your mother. On the other hand, it would probably work every year.

I really don't think the Day is what it once was .... I mean... who really does this kind of thing anymore but maybe Junior High kids?
Maybe we should designate another day of the year to fools... like Presidents Day... now there is a foolish holiday... why celebrate this bunch of yokels?
Or Valentines/Fools Day... now that would be a good joke... Ilove you --Aprils fools... ummm in February..
Well It isn't all thought out, I still see serious issues if we plan to still call it Aprils Fools if we do it on different months.... February Fools doesn't have much punch... But we could celebrate Each month... hhmmm I really need to retire and think this through.
It's the joke that keeps going...then, if you ever do really get married, then you can announce your divorce every April 1st.
You'd be the boy who cried "alimony".
Next year tell them b-side is your fiance...

I like to think April Fool's is all month long. So I tend to pull little pranks on my family throughout April. That way they never know when to expect it.
Shame your a boy Joe (ok not really - I like that quality in you) but when you're a girl you can do the whole "I'm pregnant" prank. Kinda like Heidi did to Spencer.
