Perhaps That Six Pack Will Have To Wait A Little While Longer
Ever notice how whenever you get on a roll with your workouts, something always comes along and ruins your your healthy ways? Yes, I mean something else besides "the weekend" and "happy hour". In my case, diet death came due dozens of little cuts. Dozens, of tasty, crispy, minty cuts. I received my order of Girl Scout cookies last week, and against my better judgment, I ordered three boxes of thin mints. I'm not saying that thin mints are bad, just the opposite. I could easily eat have a sleeve in one sitting and not bat an eyelash. Too bad that amount contains around 800 calories, or if you are scoring at home, more than 45 minutes on the treadmill. In other words, I would have to put in about 5 extra hours on the treadmill to make up for all of those calories. And you know what? I would do the exact same thing if had to do it all over again.

Margot seems nice. Maybe she would like a cookie.

Well too bad for Margot because this afternoon I ate all of the rest of the Thin Mints left in California. Thanks Jojo, for leading me down a chocolaty and guilty path!
Wow, I think I just got tears in my eyes. My usual source of GSA cookies changed jobs and I didn't get to order any this year. You don't realize how good a frozen Thin Mint is until you've gone a year without one.
I have discovered the joys of Keebler Grasshoppers. Just like thin mints (I think the same company makes them) and less expensive. Oh, and you don't have to deal with those annoying little girls guilting you into buying more cookies than you really want.
