Only in West Hollywood: Optometrist Edition
I guess I shouldn't complain about getting my lenses in a Prada bag, but it was clearly the smallest Prada bag ever, and therefore would not impress anybody should I be seen carrying it around. Taking one look at it, people might assume I walked into Prada and bought a postcard, just so I could be seen with a fancy bag.

When I was in Spain years ago the women there used Zara bags as their purses. It was hilarious, especially since it's hardly the most prestigious of stores.

I say you acquired a nice mini-manpurse there. Lug it around with you everywhere until the edges are frayed. And then keep it in your closet so you can tell everyone "I have a Prada bag".

Your optometrist has an even hoity-toityer name than mine. I go to L'Optique in Dallas. She has her own fancy bags, though.

This reminds me of spending my first paycheck that I ever earned when I was 14. I went into Tiffany's and bought the cheapest thing they had just so I could carry the pretty blue bag around.
My optometrist didn't even fit my glasses for me and you get a Prada bag?
