That Really Pisses Me Off: My Pimping Ride Edition
No, my new (for me) car doesn't piss me off, but it has had a rough first couple of weeks of ownership. The first week was great, but then St. Patty's day happened. I woke up the next day to find that somebody had keyed my car - hard core - on both sides AND the trunk. Be warned, if I see anybody keying any car in my neighborhood, I will skip the cops and just put a brick through their car window.
Oh, and by the way, I also received a pticket the night before. I then received a ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street and today was the worst. I got a ticket AND towed because I forgot to place the stupid fucking parking permit on my rearview, meaning they couldn't tell the difference between me and my Acura and all of those kids from the Valley who were driving their parents BMW/Mercedes and decided to come to Hollywood. Normally if I wake up to see that I spent $200 at 1AM, I can at least be happy that the words "rub" or "tug" were involved.
Now please excuse me while I cry myself to sleep.

Yeah, I know someone in Newport Beach who got a nice car, and it was keyed CONSTANTLY. He finally had to give it up because it wasn't worth the heartache. I feel for you, man.
Bad luck comes in threes, so I figure you're done for now. And I hope the bad luck stays away. Definitely a justifiable rant, though.

Bummer dude. I bought a new (to me) car over the summer and I've already scratched up the rear passenger side door. Of course, I did that to myself so it's not quite as bad. Actually, maybe that makes it worse... Anyway, I empathize.

That totally sucks. This happened the same day my hubby hit the front bummper of our car, while pulling into the garage. I wanted to key him.

Someone keyed my then new Xterra a few years back.. on Easter... in the church parking lot. I was livid.
My new Xterra had a dent when I bought it. My very impatient and blind father went to slam the hood shut when they were showing us the engine. Thing is, the little hood holder upper bar was still in place. So my hood has a nice little ripple.
Dad tried to get a discount for "damaged goods", the dealer shot back with "you break it you bought it".
